The school was founded in 1946; 2001, Yantai University of Staff, Yantai Industrial School, Shandong Province Light Industry Economic Management School , Shandong Province, Yantai Finance School merged into Yantai Vocational College; 2002, Shandong Province, foreign economic schools; , Yantai Institute of Education, Shandong Radio and Television University (Yantai) into.
