About the university
Gansu Vocational and Technical College is approved by the Ministry of Education with a higher degree of education and accreditation of ordinary institutions of higher learning. The predecessor of the school was built in 1979, Tianshui Geological School, in 1992 changed its name to the Northwest Industrial School, in 2001 by the Gansu Provincial College set up evaluation committee review, approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government, in the northwest industrial school on the basis of the establishment of Gansu Industrial Technology College.
