About the university
Yantai Nanshan University was established in 1991. The university now has 6 sub-colleges, including Engineering College, Humanities College, Business College, Aviation College, Music College and Health College. Aviation College is in large-scale construction phase and it will formally establish its undergraduate education at the beginning of next semester. The university offers 35 undergraduate majors, covering engineering, management, liberal arts, economics, and arts. At present, the university has 7 teaching units, which are Mechanical Engineering Experimental Center, Electrical Information Experimental Center, Basic Courses Education Department, Social Sciences Education Department, Public Physical Education Department, and Research Center of Literature, History and Philosophy.
