About the university
Approved by Tianjin Municipal Government and Ministry of Education, Tianjin Coastal Polytechnic (TCP) was independently established in 1958 as a state-owned fulltime college for higher vocational education. TCP is located at the center of Tianjin Binhai New Area, Tanggu, adjacent to Tianjin Port, Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone, Tianjin Economic & Technological Development Area (TEDA), and Tanggu Marine High-Tech Development Zone. The advantageous location provides excellent development space for TCP.
