Jilin Railway Vocational and Technical College, located in Jilin City , Jilin Province , is approved by the Jilin Provincial People's Government , the Ministry of Education for the record, under the Jilin Provincial Department of Education management, to cultivate production, construction, management, services and other urgent needs of high-quality , High-skilled applied talents as the goal of the public full-time ordinary institutions of higher learning . The school was founded in 1948, Jilin Railway Economic School (secondary school) and founded in 1958, Jilin Railway Transport Workers University, in June 2001 the merger of the two schools, in February 2006 converted to Jilin Railway Vocational and Technical College, It is in Jilin Province the only one with a specialty in railway vocational colleges .
