Ankang University

Ankang College is a province of multi-disciplinary full-time general undergraduate colleges, is the national college students innovation and entrepreneurship training program colleges and universities, the first batch of outstanding agricultural and forestry personnel education and training program reform pilot colleges and universities, one of the members of the Hanjiang River Valley University. College has a bachelor degree grant, and a number of colleges and universities jointly cultivate master's degree, doctoral students. The predecessor of the college was founded in 1958 by the University of Ankang, 1963 due to national economic difficulties closed. In 1978, he re-established "Shaanxi Normal University Ankang Specialties", in 1984 by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government approval, changed its name to "Ankang Teachers College." In 2004 the original health education college, Shaanxi Ankang agricultural school into the Ankang Teachers College, in February 2006 approved by the Ministry of Education upgraded to undergraduate colleges. As of March 11, 2016, the school divided into Jiangnan, Jiangbei two campuses, covering 813 acres, the total area of 276202.14 square meters of school buildings, teaching equipment, scientific research equipment assets worth 6608.6 million yuan. There are 743 faculty members, full-time college students 11867 people, set up 12 secondary colleges, set up 34 undergraduate majors.
