About the university
Nanjing Vocational Institute of Technology (Nanjing Communications Institute of Technology) is a public full-time ordinary colleges and universities, under the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation. College was founded in 1953, 2001 independent upgraded to higher vocational colleges. College is a high-skilled talent training demonstration base in Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Province is the transportation and vocational education group chairman of the unit, Jiangsu Province, higher education reform pilot area construction pilot institutions. As of January 2015, the college covers an area of 921 mu, construction area of 319,000 square meters, the total value of 706 million yuan of fixed assets, teaching equipment worth 103 million yuan; with six teaching faculties, opened 47 professional, 616 faculty members, full-time students in nearly ten thousand people, adult students in more than 4,000 students.
