About the university
Yunnan Energy Vocational and Technical College is located in Qujing City, Yunnan Province, for the full-time public higher vocational and technical college, the school is the national vocational education advanced units, Yunnan Province, graduates of the typical experience of employment colleges and universities, the national coal adult education advanced collective. The school predecessor was founded in 1978 in Yunnan Province Coal Industry School, in October 2002, by the Yunnan Provincial Engineering and Technical School, Yunnan Province, the basic construction of coal companies technical school, Yunnan Province, Radio and Television University coal branch of the formation of Yunnan Energy Vocational and Technical College. According to the school website in May 2016, the school has three campuses, the total area of 503 acres, construction area of 25,000 square meters, teaching equipment worth 64 million; with seven homes (Department), run 34 higher vocational professional; there are 412 faculty members, full-time college students in 6850 people.
