About the university
Northern Beijing Vocational Education Institute, located in Beijing, is approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the Ministry of Education for the record, independent set of full-time higher vocational and technical institutions, is the demonstration of higher vocational colleges in Beijing. Its predecessor was established in 1984, Beijing Institute of Architectural Engineering Huairou Branch, in 2002 by the Beijing Municipal People's Government approved, changed its name to Beijing Beijing North Vocational and Technical College, Beijing suburbs to become the first independent set of vocational colleges. In 2006 successfully passed the evaluation of personnel training level of the Ministry of Education; 2007 assessment of the returnees received a high degree of evaluation, is considered to be the most significant development of the College; in 2009 was identified as the Beijing model higher vocational college construction units.
