About the university
Tianjin Sino-German Applied Technology University is approved by the Ministry of Education to establish a full-time comprehensive undergraduate colleges. Tianjin Sino-German Institute of Applied Technology was established in 1985 by the Chinese government and the German government to establish a national model higher vocational colleges - Tianjin Sino-German Vocational and Technical College; in 2001, Tianjin Sino-German training center of Tianjin Institute of Industry and Technology and Tianjin Institute of Modern Enterprise Management on the basis of the formation of a new Tianjin Sino-German Vocational and Technical College; in November 2015, through the integration of Tianjin Haihe Education Park library education resources, the Ministry of Education agreed to Tianjin Sino-German Vocational and Technical College on the basis of the establishment of Tianjin Sino - German Applied Technology University.
