About the university
Kunming Industrial Vocational and Technical College is a Yunnan Ordinary Higher Vocational and Technical College, its predecessor was founded in 1964 to set up Kunming Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. technical school, in 2002, the formation of Kunming Industrial Vocational and Technical College. The school is "the national metallurgical talent training base", "Yunnan provincial demonstration vocational colleges", "Yunnan province characteristics vocational colleges", "Yunnan province high skill personnel training base".
