About the university
Chengdu Art Vocational College was built in 1999, since 2000 with the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Normal University joint school, set up Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts Chengdu Branch, Sichuan Normal University Design Art Institute, to undergraduate as the main general higher education. In April 2002, the People's Government of Sichuan Province approved the examination and approval of the Ministry of Education, formally established Chengdu Art Vocational College, full-time general higher vocational education, college students in more than 8,000 people.
