About the university
Yinshan Nan Lu, the Yellow River elbow, beautiful and rich Hetao plain gave birth to a "look up at the sky, down to earth" for the motto to cultivate high-quality applied talents as the responsibility of the comprehensive local university - Hetao College. The predecessor of the college was founded in 1943 by General Fu Zuoyi, who enjoys a good reputation in the community, and the Hetao University, founded in 1985, has optimized the educational resources and integrated the seven institutions in the Bayannaoer area. Significantly enhanced in March 2012 by the Ministry of Education approved the promotion of ordinary undergraduate institutions, is the only western Inner Mongolia, an ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities.
