About the university
Beijing Economic Management Vocational College is approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the State Ministry of Education for the record, set up independent vocational institutions. The school was founded in 1979, its predecessor for the Beijing Municipal Economic Management Institute. In 1999, the whole system was transferred to higher vocational college, renamed the Beijing Economic Management Vocational College. In 2006, the Hebei Vocational and Technical College was renamed as the higher vocational college. As of December 2015, the college has two campuses: Wangjing campus, Gu'an campus, a total area of 1289 acres, construction area of 133077.24 square meters, teaching and research equipment worth 87.44 million yuan; collection of paper books 509,600; There are seven teaching units, 21 vocational and professional; 537 faculty members, 3340 students in school.
