About the university
Changchun Dongfang Vocational College , located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, the predecessor of Changchun Oriental University , 1992 by the Jilin Provincial Association of old professors, the original Jilin Provincial Board of Education approved. Jilin Province, the old professor association, met the central set up in Changchun institutions of higher learning and research institutions, experts, as well as many well-known professors and scholars in Jilin Province, including a group of long-term adherence to teaching, research, medical first line of the old Professor, composed of Changchun Oriental University full-time teachers; Jilin Province Association of old professors as school principals. June 2000, the Jilin Provincial Government approved the national Ministry of Education approved as a national college diploma qualification, to participate in the national plan unified college entrance examination of ordinary colleges and universities , named "Changchun Oriental Vocational College."
