About the university
Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College is the only southeast coastal areas of China to cultivate agriculture and animal husbandry science and technology technical talents of the institutions of higher learning, the college is located in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. The school formerly known as was built in September 1958, "Taixian agricultural secondary technical schools", in March 2013, the school changed its name to "Jiangsu Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Vocational College", school name still in use today. In 2008, the college was identified as "the exemplary higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province". In 2010, the college was identified as "the first national model (backbone) higher vocational college" by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.
