About the university
Rizhao Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1987, Rizhao City, the third vocational high school, in 1993 upgraded to ordinary secondary professional schools - Rizhao City Economic School. April 15, 1998, approved by the Ministry of Education to become the first higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province. July 2008, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance identified as a national model higher vocational institutions project construction units. 2011, with outstanding achievements through the national demonstration institutions acceptance. In 2012, the Ministry of Education was identified as "2011 - 2012 national college graduates employment experience typical college", among the top 50 national college employment.
