About the university
Henan University of Engineering is located in Henan Province, Zhengzhou City, is the Ministry of Education , Henan Provincial People's Government approved the establishment of full-time ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities, selected in Henan Province model application technology type of undergraduate institutions. The history of the school can be traced back to the Henan Province in 1910 to set up the official secondary industrial school; in March 2007, was founded in 1956 in Zhengzhou Economic Management Institute and was founded in 1954, Henan Textile College merged to form Henan College of Engineering. According to the school website in January 2017, the school covers an area of 1.753 million square meters, construction area of 1.0689 million square meters of teaching and research equipment worth 2.23 billion yuan, 2.21 million copies of paper books; a total of 1535 faculty members (Including more than 26,500 undergraduates); with 21 teaching institutes (ministries), 45 undergraduate programs, 33 undergraduate programs.
