About the university
Guizhou Engineering Application Technology Institute was founded in 1938, after the provincial capital of Bijie Normal School, Bijie semi-cultivated primary school, Bijie Normal College and other period. In 1993, the Ministry of Education was named Bijie Teachers College. In March 2005, Bijie Teachers College and Bijie Education College merged to form Bijie College, a full-time ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities. May 2014, approved by the Ministry of Education, Bijie College changed its name to Guizhou Institute of Engineering Applied Technology. The school covers an area of more than 1,300 acres, teaching and research equipment worth more than 1 billion, paper books 99.99 million, electronic books 128.24 million, foreign language database 20. The school has 13 teaching colleges, a teaching department, 46 undergraduate majors, covering engineering, science, education, literature, management, art and other seven disciplines. There are 9032 full-time students from 15 provinces, districts and municipalities. The existing staff of 914 people, including Dr. 49, 409 master, is a high title 57, deputy title 260 people.
