Hebei University of Chinese Medicine

Established in 1958，Hebei University of Chinese Medicine is one of the earliest established higher education institutions for Chinese medicine in the People’s Republic of China. The University has two campuses named Juquan and Xingyuan, one Class A tertiary comprehensive hospital, 21 teaching hospitals, 6 practice bases and 15000 beds. Juquan and Xingyuan campuses cover an area of 556 mu (1 mu ≈ 666 square meters) and more than 168000 square meters of practical construction. The University is equipped with excellent teaching and research facilities with 76 million Yuan worth of teaching and scientific instruments, a collection of 500 thousand books, 23.8 thousand of thread-bound ancient books among which 747 were rare books.
