About the university
Guangzhou Urban Construction Vocational College is approved by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education for the record of the private full-time specialist level of ordinary institutions of higher learning. The school history can be traced back to March 1960 set up the Guangzhou City amateur architectural engineering college; June 1966 due to "Cultural Revolution" was forced to stop; in 1973 and renamed "July 21 Workers University"; in 1980 changed its name to Guangzhou In July 2000, Guangzhou City Construction Corporation and Guangzhou University Teachers College, South China Institute of Construction and other nine colleges and universities merged into Guangzhou University, set up as the Guangzhou University of Guangzhou University, Guangzhou University of Architecture and Technology, And then renamed the "Guangzhou University Urban Construction Technology Institute"; in December 2003 changed to sole proprietorship of the private secondary school, renamed "Guangzhou University Urban Construction College" in April 2007 transferred to an independent set of ordinary colleges and universities, renamed "Guangzhou Urban Construction Vocational College".
