About the university
Siping Vocational University (formerly Jilin Normal University Applied Engineering Institute ) in 1983 by the provincial government, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the school around the social needs of training application talents, is a set of machinery, electronics, economy, management, Computer, language, art, medicine and other categories of coordinated development of full-time public colleges and universities. The school is located in the beautiful scenery and pleasant scenery of the Siping Mountain Gate Scenic Area , Siping is located in the northeastern provinces of the three centers and economic core, convenient transportation and rich products. The school covers an area of 327,000 square meters, construction area of 136,000 square meters, 130 million yuan in fixed assets.
