About the university
Yancheng Vocational College of Technology (Yancheng Vocational Institute of Industry Technology) is a by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government held a full-time public vocational colleges, selected in Jiangsu Province in 2013 demonstration of vocational colleges. Yancheng Industrial Vocational and Technical College of the school history can be traced back to 1964 to create the Yancheng area of Jiangsu Province textile industry vocational schools. In 1968, the school because of the "Cultural Revolution" revoked; in 1980, the school complex, the school called Yancheng textile industry school. In 2004, the school and the establishment of the Yancheng Light Industry School in 1989, the formation of Yancheng Textile Vocational and Technical College, in 2013 to the current name.
