About the university
Shanxi Engineering Vocational and Technical College, is a province of Shanxi Province ordinary colleges and universities, but also one of the national model higher vocational colleges. College of the former Metallurgical Industry Department Taiyuan Iron and Steel Industry School; Shanxi Engineering Vocational and Technical College; in 2010 through the acceptance, as 100 national demonstration of vocational colleges. As of December 2015, the college campus covers an area of more than 200 acres, the school building area of 160,000 square meters, collection of books 304,400, teaching equipment worth 7948.34 million; with 6 smelting 3, opened 25 vocational Professional; 344 faculty members, full-time students in 6241 people.
