About the university
Chongqing Hailian Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1999, is approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, the Ministry of Education for the record, into the national enrollment plan, for the national enrollment of full-time ordinary colleges and universities. In 2009, approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Southwest University of Political Science and Technology took over the college, became the college's investors, organizers and managers. In September 2013, Sichuan Pan-American Education Investment Group and Chongqing Binxin Group Co., Ltd. established Chongqing Xinyuan Investment Co., Ltd., which merged with the Southwest University of Political Science and Law.
