About the university
Hunan Institute of Bio-mechanical and Electrical Technology is located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, is the provincial demonstration of higher vocational colleges. College was founded in Hunan private school of their official 1903; in 1951 changed its name to Changsha, Hunan Agricultural School; in 2001, Changsha, Hunan Agricultural School, Hunan Mechanical and Electrical Engineering School merged upgraded to Hunan Vocational and Technical College of Biological and electromechanical ; 2008 named For the Hunan Institute of bio-mechanical and electrical vocational and technical. As of January 2016, the college covers an area of 2470 acres, with East Lake campus, Ma Po Ling campus, production and research demonstration and super hybrid rice production demonstration and personnel training base, with a total construction area of 260,000 square meters; a total of 935 faculty , Full-time students in school more than 1 people; set up nine secondary colleges, 40 professional.
