About the university
Hubei Vocational and Technical College is approved by the State Ministry of Education set up an independent public office full-time higher vocational colleges, the Ministry of education "excellent doctor education and training program" pilot colleges and universities. Xiaogan Education College was established in 1979 Xiaogan area teacher training school; in June 1986 changed its name to Xiaogan Education Institute; in 1963, the school changed its name in Hubei Province Xiaogan health school; in 1973 changed its name to Xiaogan area financial and trade school; College, Xiaogan City Finance and Trade School, Xiaogan City Electrical and Mechanical Engineering School, Xiaogan City Health School merged into the Xiaogan Vocational and Technical College, then renamed the Hubei Vocational and Technical College.
