About the university
Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College is the 2001 Gansu provincial government approval, the Ministry of Education filing, Lanzhou municipal government hosted the full-time ordinary higher vocational colleges. The school was founded in 1974, Lanzhou City, thirty-fifth middle school, in August 2009, founded in 1904 in Lanzhou Normal School and founded in 1958 Lanzhou Institute of Education into Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College, merged to form a new Lanzhou vocational school. As of May 2015, the college has four campuses, covers an area of 462 acres, construction area of more than 20 million square meters; set up 65 vocational, 11 faculties, 3 teaching department, a center. There are 749 faculty members, more than 9,000 students.
