About the university
Xianyang Normal University is located in the historical and cultural city - Xianyang, is a teacher education for the characteristics of the provincial undergraduate institutions, is the national language standardization model school. The school was founded in May 1978, formerly known as "Shaanxi Normal University Xianyang Specialties." In December 1978, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of "Xianyang Teachers College". May 2001, Xianyang Teachers College and 1983 set up in Shaanxi Province Xianyang Education Institute merged to set up Xianyang Normal College. In October 2004, Shaanxi Radio and Television University Xianyang City merged into Xianyang Normal College.
