About the university
Yinchuan Energy College is located in the historical and cultural city of Yinchuan City, the campus east of the Yellow River, Xiping Helan Mountain, the autonomous region and the Yinchuan City Government jointly organized by the engineering-based private undergraduate institutions. The school was built in 1999, 2012 approved by the Ministry of Education, upgraded to cultivate petrochemical, power industry application-based talents of ordinary undergraduate colleges and universities. According to the school website in November 2015, the school covers an area of 1,200 acres, construction area of 22.65 million square meters, the total assets of 958 million yuan. The school has more than 15,000 students, for nearly Ningxia, Shaanxi, Gansu, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and other nearly 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions enrollment.
