About the university
Xianyang University is a provincial-based undergraduate teacher education institutions. School was founded in May 1978, was originally called "special training course in Xianyang, Shaanxi University." December 1978, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of "Xianyang College." May 2001, Xianyang College founded in 1983, Xianyang, Shaanxi Institute of Education to form Xianyang Normal University. October 2004, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Radio and TV University into the College Campus. Schools located in the historical and cultural cities - Xianyang, covers an area of 68 thousand square meters, the teaching and administrative space area of 17 thousand square meters. 36 laboratories, teaching and research equipment worth 7,000 million.
