Kunming Metallurgy College (Kunming Metallurgy College), referred to as Kunming Metallurgical, is approved by the Ministry of Education full-time public general college, with the qualifications to recruit specialist level education. The school was founded in 1952, formerly known as Gejiu Mining Technology School, in 1992 changed its name to Kunming Metallurgical College, school name still in use today. Kunming Metallurgical College is one of the two national demonstration higher vocational colleges in Yunnan Province. It is one of the institutions of higher education in Yunnan province. As of January 2017, the school has Lianhua, peaceful two campuses, covers an area of 1244.43 acres, teaching and research equipment worth 127586800 yuan, collection of paper books 692,500; built 363 off-campus, 28 school training Base, 280 functional training room, 159 practical training room, 954 in the teaching staff; with 16 secondary colleges, opened 78 vocational college, full-time vocational students in 16,300 Name.
