About the university
Wuyi University is located in the "world culture and natural heritage" - Wuyi Mountain. Wuyi College is the Ministry of Education approved on March 19, 2007 the establishment of the public full-time general undergraduate institutions; the predecessor was founded in August 12, 1958 Nanping Teachers College; January 1962, Fuzhou Normal College and Renamed Nanping Teachers College (undergraduate); during the Cultural Revolution closed in 1978 by the State Council approved the re-election. The school is located in the green hinterland of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits, located in the "world culture and natural heritage" - Wuyi Mountain, high-speed railway, highways, aviation and other transportation extending in all directions. Campus covers an area of 3,000 acres, Yishanbangshui, lakes and mountains, flowers, four seasons picturesque. The school has four provincial key disciplines (tourism management, tea, Chinese language and literature, art), professional covers economics, education, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, management, art and other eight disciplines.
