Guangxi Electric Power Vocational and Technical College is approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the establishment of a so as to cultivate high-level technical personnel of the power industry-based public full-time ordinary institutions of higher learning. College formerly known as Guangxi Electric Power Technical School and Nanning Electric Power School, was founded in 1979. In 2004, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People's Government approved the upgraded to higher vocational and technical college. College covers an area of 190,000 square meters. The campus is located in Nanning City National Hi-Tech Development Zone Industrial Park, covers an area of 12000 square meters, with a total construction area of 14,8100 square meters, the East Campus is located in Nanning City, Anji Road on the 15th, covers an area of 70,000 square meters, construction area of 39752 Square meters, is building a new campus covers an area of about 1,000 acres.
