About the university
Huaian Vocational College of Information Technology is located in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province. Is a approved by the Ministry of Education to set up a specialist level full-time ordinary colleges and universities. The school was founded in 1978, formerly known as Huaiyin electronics industry school. In 1996, the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government approved the pilot five years of continuous higher vocational and technical education, in 1997, the former Jiangsu Provincial Board of Education approved the enrollment of college classes, in 2001 was allowed to upgrade to Huai'an Information Vocational and Technical College. As of July 2016, the school covers an area of 1080 acres, construction area of more than 30 million square meters, more than 600 million yuan in fixed assets, equipment worth 136 million yuan, 700,000 books collection, with more than 600 faculty, full-time teachers More than 400, full-time students in more than 11,000 people. The school has eight faculties, 40 specialist level professional.
