About the university
Jiangsu Open University is approved by the Ministry of Education, sponsored by the Provincial People's Government, with the right to undergraduate and bachelor degree grant of the new higher education institutions. The school was founded in 1979, Jiangsu Radio and Television University, in 2012 by the Ministry of Education approved the official renamed Jiangsu Open University, became the first batch of pilot construction of six open universities.
