About the university
Shanghai Conservatory of Music was a great democratic revolutionist, outstanding educator, thinker Mr. Cai Yuanpei and music educator Dr. Xiao Youmei in November 27, 1927 co-founded the National Music Academy. The first president is Mr. Cai Yuanpei. In 1929 September changed its name to the National Music Academy.
