About the university
Qujing Normal University is located in Qujing, the second largest city in Yunnan Province, the hometown of Cuan Culture, one of the Top 10 National Residence-Friendly Cities. Covering an area of 1234 mu (200 acres) with beautiful scenery, tree-lined roads and perfect teaching facilities, the main campus indeed can be compared to an exceedingly beautiful scenic spot. Facilities like music studio, art exhibition room, tennis court, football pitch and golf course etc are available. The in-service faculty and staff of the University number nearly 931 people, and there are over 14,000 full-time students. We have built cooperation with some foreign universities, which provides platform for students to learn Chinese and to experience Chinese culture. During the past two years, nearly one hundred overseas students from Thailand, the United States, Japan, Italy, Laos, and Switzerland come to study at Qujing Normal University.
