About the university
Wuhan Radio and Television University was established in January 5, 1979, is a radio, television, printing, audio-visual materials and multimedia network technology for long-distance open education comprehensive colleges and universities, is one of the 44 provincial power. The school is located in the center of Wuhan City, has in Wuhan City, 13 districts and some commissioned by the Bureau and large enterprises and institutions have 42 campuses, forming a coverage of the city's districts, various sectors of the TVU education network. In May 2003, Wuhan Radio and Television University and Hankou Vocational and Technical College merged to form Wuhan Software Vocational College. In April 2006, Wuhan Software Vocational College and Wuhan Gongli Vocational College merged to form Wuhan Software Engineering Vocational College. Wuhan Municipal People's Government is now hosting one of the two vocational colleges.
