About the university
Sichuan Vocational and Technical College (Sichuan Vocational College of Chemical Technology) is the Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Committee directly under the university, Sichuan provincial demonstration higher vocational school project construction unit, and the school is also the southwest region only chemical industry school. Founded in 1953 in Sichuan Chemical Industry School; in 1998 to become the first batch of colleges and universities in Sichuan Province pilot schools; in 2007 in the Ministry of education of higher vocational education personnel assessment level of work to obtain "excellent" level title; June 2012 was identified as Sichuan Province, "provincial demonstration of higher vocational colleges construction plan" project construction units.
