About the university
Tongling University is located in Tongling City , Anhui Province , is a financial discipline for the characteristics of the provincial-level demonstration of applied undergraduate colleges and universities. The school was founded in April 1978, March 2002 by the Ministry of Education approved by the Tongling Institute of Finance and Economics upgraded to Tongling College. In December 2008, the school launched the " Anhui Province applied for undergraduate colleges and universities " and served as the first rotating chairman of the unit. 2009 approved for the Anhui Province model application of undergraduate institutions project construction units. In 2013 through the provincial demonstration of applied undergraduate institutions project acceptance. Approved in 2015 for the Anhui Province local application of high-level university project construction units. As of June 2016, the school has Cuihu, Yu Xiu two campuses, the campus covers an area of 1310 acres (about 873630 square meters), all kinds of school buildings area of 420,000 square meters. There are 850 faculty members, 210 high school titles, teachers with master's degree, 555 master's degree teachers, full-time undergraduate students in 18033, adult education in more than 1,800 students.
