About the university
Formerly known as Korea Korea University campus, is China's first Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions. At the end of 1992, the Jilin Provincial People's Government approved the school to "Yanbian Science and Technology University (chips)", began to recruit national plan outside the college students. In 1996, incorporated into Yanbian University as "Yanbian University College of Science and Technology" began to recruit undergraduate students in the national plan. The school covers an area of about 350,000 square meters, construction area of 82,000 square meters, initially with the training of undergraduate school conditions. College students in more than 1800, 387 faculty members. Of which 235 foreign staff, from the United States, South Korea, Germany 11 countries, administrative staff of Chinese and foreign personnel each half. Teachers in 34 professors, 47 associate professors, 46 doctoral degrees.
