About the university
Sanming College in May 2004 by the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the provincial general undergraduate colleges and universities, the implementation of provinces and cities to build, to the city-based management system, in June 2012 through the Ministry of Education undergraduate teaching work qualified assessment. The school is the predecessor of the Sanming College, in October 2000 by the Sanming Teachers College, Sanming Vocational University, Sanming Normal School merged to set up, the school history can be traced back to 1903 Chen Baochen founded Quan Min Normal School. The school is located in the west coast of Fujian Province, emerging industrial city, China's outstanding tourist city - Sanming City. Sanming is the old revolutionary base areas, the area of Ninghua, clean, naturalization (now Mingxi County) and other 12 counties (cities, districts) are central Soviet areas; reform and opening up, Sanming or the birthplace of national spiritual civilization.
