About the university
Gannan Medical University is located in the south of Jiangxi Province, the historical and cultural city - Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province is the only independent set of ordinary high school medical school, the Ministry of education "excellent doctor education and training program" pilot colleges and universities, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Professor Han Jisheng served as honorary president. The school was founded in 1941 in Jiangxi Province Jiangxi Ganxian senior midwifery vocational schools, established in 1958 Gannan Medical College, in 1988 upgraded to Gannan Medical College and began to recruit undergraduates, in 1993 by the bachelor degree grant, In 2013, it was approved as a master's degree granting unit.
