The University of Medellín is a private higher education institution located in Medellín, Colombia. It was founded in 1950. The University of Medellín is located in the neighborhood Belén Los Alpes, southwest of Medellín. The university city has total area of 361,300 square meters. The University was accredited institutionally by the Ministry of National Education through resolution number 5148 of August 3, 2009. This accreditation joins the ISO 9001 - 2008 certification, granted by ICONTEC to all processes of the University, as well as to Social Responsibility, Fenalco solidario, thus consolidating its quality system. In addition, it has 10 accredited undergraduate programs that are Law (2006), Environmental Engineering, shares accreditation with the Technological of Antioquia in the same career (Renewed-2009), Civil Engineering (Renewed-2011), Systems Engineering (2009) , Communication and Corporate Relations (Renovado-2009), Business Administration (2007), Public Accounting (2008) Financial Engineering (2011), Communication and Audiovisual Languages (2011) and International Business (2012).
