About the university
The University of the Llanos , is a public academic institution of higher education, the largest in the region of the eastern plains and the Colombian Amazon . Its main headquarters are in Villavicencio , in addition to different Regional Centers in different cities and municipalities in the region. It is a university attached to the Ministry of Education of Colombia . Universidad de los Llanos is located in the city of Villavicencio , capital of Meta department , its headquarters is located in the village of Barcelona in that city (Headquarters Barcelona), and has a second office located in the city center (Headquarters San Antonio). The university is made up of 5 faculties offering 16 undergraduate programs . In addition it offers 13 specializations , 4 masters and a doctorate. It has several CERES located throughout the Department and in San José del Guaviare where 6 undergraduate programs are offered.
