About the university
La Universidad Magister es prescindente en materia ideológica, política, religiosa y cultural, asegura dentro de su recinto la más amplia libertad de investigación y de expresión, pero no se desentiende de los problemas sociales, políticos e ideológicos, sino que los estudia científicamente. Además de su tarea específica de centro de estudios y de enseñanza superior procura difundir los beneficios de su acción cultural y social directa, mediante la extensión universitaria. Tres pilares sostienen el quehacer institucional: La Responsabilidad Social, El Compromiso con el Ambiente y la Tecnología Humanizada, con los que trabajamos con comunidades indígenas, centros de atención de problemas sociales, Cruz Roja, programas de adultos mayores y otros.
