Polytechnic Velika Gorica

Polytechnic Velika Gorica is the educational institution that carried out five professional and three specialist professional graduate studies whose curricula are realized with the help of modern technologies which are constantly supplemented, updated and enable its students an easier transfer of knowledge that will help them, turning to the labor market, provide employment and a promotion, or livelihoods in some of today's modern organizations. The goal of the Polytechnic Velika Gorica is the education of students in specific areas of the profession to contribute to the general development of the education system, thereby ensuring sufficient quantity and quality of highly educated staff. The need for education of specific staff shows a constant market analysis of human resources where he established a lack of specialists of certain professions for which the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica conducted a study appearing for the first time in the educational process not only in Croatia but also in the world. Because of a different approach to the education of their students, and to create new value for the economy, Polytechnic Velika Gorica was among the first three institutions of higher education of this type in its number of enrolled students. Currently, at the Polytechnic Velika Gorica enrolled about 1,500 full-time and part-time students.
