About the university
The International School of Physical Education and Sport of Havana or EIEFD was inaugurated on 23 of February of 2001 by the then President of the Republic of Cuba Comandante Fidel Castro Ruz after Affirm Commitment Cuba in the training of professionals in Branches of Physical Education and Sport in Third World countries , and is the youngest university in Cuba . It is also one of the first in its kind of America.
