Founded in 1967, Universidad de Camagüey (University of Camagüey) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the small city Camagüey (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Camaguey. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Cuba (Ministry of Higher Education, Cuba), Universidad de Camagüey (UC) is a small (enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universidad de Camagüey (UC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. University of Camagüey institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
